PHOEBE FEARING

​

Phoebe worked for a bay area financial services firm or five years after working with a bay area CPA firm for three years, and knows her way around QBO (QuickBooks Online), as a Certified QBO ProAdvisor, and Intuit Trained Bookkeeper, with additional tax certifications underway.  Phoebe is also a QBLE Senior Bookkeeping Associate @ Intuit.

Working as the Principal Accounting Specialist at ECWCA, she loves the challenge that comes with keeping her clients on track for deadlines and preparing for tax season.  Unless you are running late pulling information together, your books will be ready for your tax deadline.  (Phoebe was awarded "the goat" twice in recent years for closing all her books ahead of the rest of the team!).

Prior to working at financial service firms, Phoebe worked in property management, at a business brokerage firm, and in direct mail marketing.  She was responsible for preparing the annual Common Area Maintenance reconciliation while working at the CPA firm and once held a CA real estate license which she had obtained for working at the business brokerage firm.  As the office manager in a family owned property management company, she was responsible for preparing the rent increase notices for 100 units.

While in business brokerage, she had the opportunity to learn about income statement adjustments used for assessing the profitability of businesses.  Recently she helped a client succeed in purchasing a commercial property falling back on that knowledge.

​

To round out her business experience, as a business owner and direct mail marketer, Phoebe draws on her hands on experience to help motivate, inspire and guide new businesses with their start-up adventures.  Phoebe loves networking, consulting, and connecting people when she can.

​

Her past accounting/bookkeeping client roster includes supporting main street businesses of all kinds (salons, bars & restaurants), service providers (designers, acupuncture) venture capital companies, individuals, a wine storage business, various start ups (in artificial intelligence, tech & software), architecture & law firms and more.  She has almost seen it all but what she loves most about accounting is the never ending journey of always learning something new.  

​

In a 2023 meeting with her former bosses and firm partners, they told her that they appreciated her strong work ethic over the years with the firm.  Indeed, she is determined to help her clients succeed and make sure they receive the consistent service they deserve.  

​

For fun, Phoebe spends time with her husband, their mini-poodle, friends and family.  They enjoy nature, cooking, staying fit and just generally enjoying life.

• Intuit Tax Level 2 60% (in progress)

• Additional Certifications Underway

• 9 years of accounting experience

• Previously held RE license
